Hong Kong: Weighted by profit taking
STOCKS closed 0.52 per cent lower yesterday, weighed by profit-taking and as investors await the release of US jobs data later in the day.
The Hang Seng Index slipped 122.16 points to 23,315.99 on turnover of HK$58.94 billion.
Shares in China Mobile fell 3.4 per cent the stock's biggest one-day fall in 18 months.
Internet giant Tencent shed 1.92 per cent to HK$439.2, Sands China slid 4.86 percent to HK$56.8 and AIA gained 0.88 per cent to HK$39.9.
