Hong Kong: Index sheds 130.97 points
SHARES closed 0.56 per cent lower yesterday after rallying at the end of last week following the US Federal Reserve's decision to keep its vast stimulus programme unchanged.
The benchmark Hang Seng Index shed 130.97 points to 23,371.54 on turnover of HK$44.01 billion.
On the index, China Mobile rose 0.28 per cent to HK$88.20, HSBC fell 1.88 per cent to HK$86.30 and CNOOC lost 0.25 per cent to HK$16.04.
Meanwhile, Hutchison Whampoa lost 0.32 per cent to sit at HK$94.15 and Ping An Insurance gave up 0.82 per cent to end at HK$60.40. AFP
