TM targets 10pc growth in SME segment
KUALA LUMPUR: Telekom Malaysia Bhd (TM) said it plans to grow its small and medium enterprise (SME) UniFi customer base of 98,000 by 10 per cent over the next 12 months.
Confident of achieving this target, TM executive vice-president of SME, Azizi A. Hadi, said the firm expects to get 3,000 to 4,000 new SME subscribers a month.
"We are optimistic that the strategic partnership between TM and Microsoft will continue to be a success, allowing us to equip businesses with comprehensive solutions tailor-made to meet their requirements.
"With this latest enhancement, SMEs can fully leverage the benefits of information and communication and technology, and focus on their core business operations to increase productivity and expand market reach," he said at the launch of UniFi Microsoft Office 365 (UniFi 365) with Microsoft (Malaysia) Sdn Bhd.
UniFi 365 offers three packages of 20Mbps, 10Mbps and 5Mbps with a free wireless modem and cordless phone.
Azizi said existing SME customers who want to upgrade to UniFi 365 can do so under TM's promotion deals, which are valid till December 31.
