SGX: Key index retreats 0.5pc
THE stock market retreated yesterday after strong gains in the previous three sessions.
The Straits Times Index dropped 15.70 points, or 0.50 per cent, to 3,108.19.
However, in the broader market, gainers beat losers 314 to 188. Overall volume traded was 3.51 billion shares worth S$1.31b.
Among the actives, Genting Singapore added 3.58 per cent, SingTel gained 0.84 per cent and Yangzijiang was up 6.12 per cent.
DBS Bank eased 1.15 per cent to S$16.31, while SIA gained 0.30 per cent to S$10.03. Agencies
