THE benchmark Straits Times Index slid 0.4 per cent, or 14.50 points, to close at 3288.52 yesterday, paring gains from the past two sessions.
This decrease was in tandem with flat to lower performance in most Southeast Asian stock markets as weaknesses in Asia weighed on appetite for risk assets, with losses seen in large-cap and financial stocks.
Shares of Keppel Corp Ltd were down 1.1 per cent after it lost a deal worth US$1.2 billion.
Singapore Airlines gained 0.18 per cent to S$10.89, while Oversea-Chinese Banking Corp shed 1.16 per cent to S$10.25. Agencies
