New Picanto to drive Naza Kia target
PETALING JAYA: Naza Kia Malaysia Sdn Bhd expects the new version of Kia Picanto to help it sell 13,000 units of Kia vehicles this year.
The company, which sold more than 12,000 vehicles last year, will unveil its all-new Picanto to the public next month. As of August, the company sold 8,300 units.
"Strong consumer sentiment as well as the new Picanto will help us to boost sales to achieve the annual target," its chief operating officer Datuk Syed Abdull Hafiz Syed Abu Bakar said.
Hafiz said the Picanto is one of the most popular vehicles in the city car A-segment, delivering premium features at affordable prices.
The new Picanto is expected to be priced below RM63,000 and will come in auto and manual transmission, he said.
The 1.2-litre car will boast, among others, a fuel consumption up to 16-17km per litre.
Hafiz was speaking to reporters yesterday after presenting awards to the winners for Kia Customer Loyalty Programme - Kia Go-Xtra Campaign 2013.
Three grand prizes were awarded to the winners comprising an all-expenses paid five-days, four-nights trip to Seoul for two, RM1,000 pocket money and RM1,000 worth of Kia service vouchers.
"This is part of Naza Kia Malaysia's initiative to appreciate our customers' loyalty and reward them with the trip of a lifetime to Seoul, Korea," Hafiz said.
This is the second year the company organised the Kia Go-Xtra campaign to reward its customers.
