MAS adds flight to Taipei
KUALA LUMPUR: Malaysia Airlines (MAS) will be introducing an extra service on its Kuala Lumpur-Taipei route effective next Monday.
In a statement released yesterday, the national airline said the additional flight will be operated by the B737-800 aircraft with a configuration of 16 Business and 144 Economy seats, with on-demand in-flight entertainment system at every seat.
With the addition, MAS will provide a total of 19 direct flights between Malaysia and Taiwan, with 12 flights a week from Kuala Lumpur and seven from Kota Kinabalu, it said.
The national carrier added that the new flight will depart Kuala Lumpur at 12.35am and arrive in Taipei at 5.20am on Monday.
The inbound flight departs Taipei on Monday at 6.40am and arrives in Kuala Lumpur at 11.40am the same day. Bernama
