MAS to have more flights to Melbourne
MELBOURNE: Malaysia Airlines will be increasing its Kuala Lumpur-Melbourne flight frequency to three times daily from November 21.
MAS flight MH147 will depart Kuala Lumpur at 7.50pm daily and arrive in Melbourne at 6.45am the following day.
Flight MH146 from Melbourne to Kuala Lumpur will depart at 8.55am and arrive in Kuala Lumpur at 2.15pm the same day.
Malaysia Airlines regional senior vice-president of Australia, New Zealand & South West Pacific, Lee Poh Kait, said the extra flights to Melbourne will increase seating capacity from 7,896 a week to 11,844 a week.
"This is a 50 per cent increase in the overall availability of seats.
"Melbourne is one of Malaysia Airlines' key markets," he added. Bernama
