SGX: Index up 43.55 points
THE FTSE Straits Times Index (STI) ended +43.55 points, or +1.34 per cent, higher to 3,291.81 yesterday, taking the year-to-date performance to +3.94 per cent.
Gainers led losers 268 to 232.
The top active stocks were Rowsley (+2.11 per cent), DBS (+1.38 per cent), GLP (+1.18 per cent), SingTel (unchanged), and OCBC Bank (+1.39 per cent).
CapitaLand advanced 1.9 per cent to S$3.78, while City Developments was up 1.67 per cent at S$11.60.
Oversea-Chinese Banking Corp gained 1.39 per cent to S$10.23 and Singapore Airlines increased 0.74 percent to S$10.90.
