All-new ES set to be Lexus Malaysia's core model
KUALA LUMPUR: Lexus Malaysia expects to sell close to 100 units of its all-new Lexus ES by year-end and more than 600 units in 2014.
This will contribute 40 per cent to the overall Lexus sales in Malaysia, said UMW Toyota Motor Sdn Bhd president Datuk Ismet Suki at the launch of the model on Monday.
Ismet said Lexus Malaysia will open three more outlets in Kuching, Ipoh and Malacca early next year, in line with its expansion and commitment to serving its customers better.
The new ES is set to be Lexus Malaysia's core model, offering the spaciousness of a full-sized luxury sedan at "never before seen prices", Ismet said.
The car is available in three variants and priced at RM259,800 for the ES250, RM279,800 for the ES250 Luxury, and RM353,000 for the range-topping Lexus ES300 Hybrid.
Lexus Malaysia is the first in this region to offer the right hand drive version of the new ES.
The company is offering three years of free service and one-year free road tax with insurance to first 200 customers who book the new ES.
