FCW hits limit-up at RM1.22
KUALA LUMPUR: Tan Sri Robert Tan Hua Choon's FCW Holdings Bhd hit limit-up yesterday as excited investors grabbed the shares before the company made an announcement to Bursa Malaysia.
FCW was up 30 sen to RM1.22 with some 1.29 million shares, while FCW-WB surged some 80 per cent to close at 68.5 sen.
Tan did not disappoint investors, as after the market was closed for trading, FCW told the stock exchange that it was entering into some ventures with a third party to help develop the company's landbank in Mukim Batu, Kuala Lumpur.
The land have a total land size of 62,369 square metres, it said.
The firm, which is controlled by 72 year-old reclusive tycoon Tan Sri Robert Tan Hua Choon, rarely hogs the limelight since its listing in 1972.
He owns 25 per cent, or 48.79 million shares, out of FCW's total capital spread.
