Hong Kong: Falls 31pc on profit taking
SHARES fell 0.31 per cent on profit-taking yesterday while investors kept an eye on an upcoming US Fed policy meeting for an idea about the future of the bank's stimulus programme.
The benchmark Hang Seng Index eased 71.89 points to 23,180.52 on turnover of HK$55.05 billion.
The Hang Seng China Enterprises Index lost 0.5 per cent. China Life shed 1.9 per cent to HK$21.05 and PetroChina fell 0.7 per cent to HK$8.76.
In the meantime, Power Assets rose 1.2 per cent to HK$67.70 and Cheung Kong Holdings added 0.95 per cent to end at HK$116.40. AFP
