Singapore: STI closes 0.02pc higher
THE FTSE Straits Times Index ended 0.02 per cent higher at 3,288.76, taking the index's up to 3.84 per cent.
The FTSE ST Mid Cap Index gained 0.14 per cent while the FTSE ST Small Cap Index rose 0.16 per cent.
Of the actives, Genting SP added 1.93 per cent, Wilmar International lost 2.48 per cent, Rowsley went up 10.67per cent, Singtel shed 1.13 per cent and Sembcorp Marine fell 0.67per cent.
The outperforming sector on the STI was the FTSE ST Utilities, which gained two per cent. Of the two biggest stocks in the Utilities Index, Hyflux rose 2.90 per cent while Gallant slipped 1.72 per cent. SGX
