SGX: STI closes 0.15pc higher
THE FTSE Straits Times Index ended 5.07 points, or 0.15 per cent, higher to 3,288.14, taking the year-to-date performance up to 3.82 per cent.
The FTSE ST Mid Cap Index gained 0.12 per cent while the FTSE ST Small Cap Index gained 0.19 per cent.
Of the active stocks ChinaMinZhong went up 17.65 per cent, Thai Bev added 4.46 per cent, People's Food Holdings rose 6.67 per cent. Meanwhile, Genting SP lost 1.27 per cent, and DBS rose 0.47 per cent.
The outperforming sectors were represented by the FTSE ST Telecommunications, which appreciated by 0.77 per cent. SGX
