SGX: Index drops 2.5 points
THE Straits Times Index ended 2.50 points, or 0.08 per cent, lower to 3,211.75, taking the year-to-date performance to 1.41 per cent higher.
The FTSE ST Mid Cap Index lost 0.03 per cent while the FTSE ST Small Cap Index rose 0.01 per cent.
Of the active stocks, YMH rose 26.32 per cent, Rowsley fell 3.73 per cent, SingTel was unchanged, DBS slipped 0.30 per cent and Yangzijiang added 4.70 per cent.
The outperforming sector was FTSE ST Industrials. Of its biggest stocks, Jardine Matheson rose 1.27 per cent while Jardine Strategic added 1.14 per cent. Agencies
