Shareholding news boosts Sersol trading
KUALA LUMPUR: Shares of Sersol Bhd were actively traded yesterday after Mohd Nazifuddin Mohd Najib and Lim Kim Chai emerged as major shareholders of the industrial chemical maker.
The stock was the sixth most actively traded but closed unchanged at RM1.02 with 38.1 million shares changing hands, compared to its five-day average of 11.5 million shares.
It climbed to a high of RM1.05 on Wednesday, its highest since March this year.
Mohd Nazifuddin and Lim both jointly own an indirect 20.76 per cent stake after they bought about 40 million shares from several individuals, according to filings to Bursa Malaysia on Wednesday.
