Mimos in aquaculture venture

KUALA LUMPUR: Mimos Bhd has teamed up with Blue Archipelago Bhd, one of Malaysia's leading aquaculture companies, to collaborate in the field of aquaculture solution.

Under the pact, Blue Archipelago will utilise Mimos technologies to improve the company's production efficiency by automating some of its key aqua farming processes, said Mimos in a statement yesterday.

The agreement was signed last Friday by Mimos president and chief executive officer Datuk Abdul Wahab Abdullah and vice-president for industrial electronics technology, Mohd Ali Mustafa, and Blue Archipelago chief executive officer Abu Bakar Ibrahim and chief operating officer Christopher Lim.

Agriculture is one of the Mimos technology verticals, which includes government, healthcare, education, public safety and communications.
