KUALA LUMPUR: Malaysia's leading portable display specialist, Display Asia, expects the ISO 9001:2008 certification that it received recently to help extend its footprint across Asia and the Middle East.

Display Asia is part of People 'N Rich Holdings, which has 68 offices in 18 countries through its affiliation with Hakuhoda Group, Japan's second largest agency network.

People 'N Rich Holdings group chief executive officer Datuk Rishya Joseph said the ISO certification is a testimony of the company's quality management systems and dedication in achieving standards that exceed the expectations of the industry.

Display Asia has a presence in Thailand, Singapore, Indonesia, Brunei, the Philippines and Mongolia, he said in a statement.

Display Asia was awarded the ISO 9001:2008 certification after successfully passing an audit conducted by DQS, a German certification body.

The certification covers portable display systems provider, exhibition solutions and graphic design.

Display Asia, which celebrated its 25th anniversary last year, offers services such as concept design, display system fitting, material selection, printing, laminating, installation, inventory management and maintenance.

Display Asia sales and operations manager Sugumaran Subramaniam said the company will continue to improve its services to meet clients' needs.

"We also consistently evaluate staff competency to ensure that they are adequately trained in product knowledge, service effectiveness and client relations," he added.

Among Display Asia's clients are CIMB Group, Tourism Malaysia, Green Tech, Pharmaniaga, Petronas and Malaysian Investment Development Authority.
