SGX: Index gains 2.61 points
THE Straits Times Index gained 2.61 points, or 0.08 per cent, to close at 3,207.85, taking the year-to-date performance to 1.29 per cent higher.
The outperforming sectors were represented by the FTSE ST Telecommunications Index, increasing 0.27 per cent.
The top active stocks were SingTel, which gained 0.27 per cent, Golden Agri-Resources (up 1.80 per cent), OCBC Bank (unchanged) and UOB (down 0.19 per cent).
Meanwhile, Wilmar International rose 0.29 per cent to S$3.46, while United Overseas Bank was down 0.19 per cent at S$20.75. Agencies
