KUALA LUMPUR: Bursa Malaysia will host its 24th Annual Palm and Lauric Oils Conference & Exhibition 2013 (POC2013) from March 4 to March 6 at the Shangri-la Hotel.

In a statement yesterday, Bursa Malaysia said the event brings together the largest gathering of global players from the palm and edible oils industry to network, exchange ideas and hear experts discuss their price outlook for the year.

Themed, "Price Volatility: Ride It, Manage It", POC2013 is hosted by Bursa Malaysia and supported by the Chicago Mercantile Exchange.

"With the world's most liquid palm oil futures contracts traded on Bursa Malaysia, it is natural that we host POC2013.

"This year we will have an added focus on helping participants understand how to take advantage of the Crude Palm Oil Futures contract to manage the risk of their portfolio in a volatile market, like we are in today," said Bursa Malaysia CEO Datuk Tajuddin Atan. Bernama
