Titijaya appoints its IPO underwriter
Property developer Titijaya Land Bhd has appointed Alliance Investment Bank Bhd as the Principal Adviser and Underwriter
for its initial public offering (IPO) exercise expected by year-end.
Titijaya has been involved in the property development industry since 2001, focusing on residential, commercial, and industrial developments, mostly in the Klang Valley.
The Securities Commission has approved Titijaya's IPO, comprising a public issue of 81.7 million new ordinary shares of 50 sen each and an offer for sale of 49.5 million existing shares of 50 sen, on the main market of Bursa Malaysia.
Group managing director Tan Sri Lim Soon Peng in a statement today said the approval gave the company the leverage needed to further increase its profile in the public eye.
He also said the Group was in the midst of strengthening its status as an established property developer in the Klang Valley.-- Bernama
