Naza's unit aims to sell 900 Citroen cars
BUKIT MERTAJAM: Naza Euro Motors Sdn Bhd, which was appointed the official Citroen distributor in Malaysia in January, targets sales of 900 Citroen cars next year following the introduction of two new models, the DS5 and DS4.
"In the first six months of this year we sold 100 Citroen cars, and we are confident at least 100 more will be sold by December.
"We believe demand for Citroen is still high, and with the right strategy the brand can achieve its rightful place in the market," chief operating officer Datuk Samson Anand George told reporters after the opening of a Citroen 3S centre at Auto City, Juru here today.
The RM2 million centre will serve Penang, Kedah, Perak and Perlis.
He said the company is investing RM6 million to open three more 3S centres, including one in Johor Baru early next month to serve the southern region, and two in the Klang Valley (where it already has two centres) -- in Puchong and Ampang in the first and second quarters next year respectively.-- Bernama
