Inari appoints new technology chief
Electronic Manufacturing Services provider, Inari Amertron Bhd, has appointed Dr Spencer Chew as its new Group chief technology officer (CTO), effective today.
He will primarily be responsible for spearheading the group's research and development (R&D) initiatives, particularly in the radio frequency and fibre-optics business units.
"Chew's strong industry expertise, encompassing integrated aspects from R&D to production, will greatly assist in enhancing our competitive edge in the fast-paced high technology industry," said Inari Amertron vice chairman, Dr Tan Seng Chuan in a statement today.
Prior to joining Inari Amertron, Chew was a director in Avago Technologies Singapore.
He has authored more than 30 articles in journals and spoken at
international conferences on thermal characterisation and failure analysis of integrated circuit packaging materials.-- Bernama
