Basco forays into Perak's property mart
Property developer Basco Sdn Bhd today launched its first dedicated fibre optic-ready development, Basco Avenue, in Ipoh city centre with a gross development value of RM390 million.
The new development is part of the company’s strategy to expand its property development business out of its mainstay in the Klang Valley, where Basco has etched a name as a reliable, respected and reputable developer.
In a statement, the company said Basco Avenue, a mixed commercial
development on 7.15-hectare leasehold plot within Ipoh Centre, will comprise 61 units of three- and four-storey shopoffices, office tower, hotel, shopping mall and 240 condominium units.
It added the project would be developed in five phases and the first phase launching will consist of 32 units of three- and and four-storey shopoffices with sizes ranging from 4,941 sq ft to 13,476 sq feet and priced from RM1.4 million.
"We are pleased with the strong support and interest shown by those who thronged the launch today, and the interest is understandable," said Basco general manager Che Fisol Abdul Hamid.
He said Basco Avenue is an integrated lifestyle centre encompassing leisure, entertainment, recreation and work facilities right at the doorstep of owners and tenants.
The project offers modern business suites, vibrant shopoffices, a lifestyle mall and condominiums with a promising potential for growth.
"We are confident that the project will attract small enterprises and young professionals who want a business address in an established location," he added.-- Bernama
