KLCI futures traded higher mid-day
The FTSE Bursa Malaysia KLCI (FBM KLCI) futures contracts on Bursa Malaysia Derivatives were traded mostly higher at mid-day, tracking the positive movement on the cash market, dealers said.
Spot month October 2013 and November 2013 gained 7.5 points each to 1,791 and 1,790, respectively, while December 2013 rose 8.5 points to 1,792.
However, March 2014 remained untraded and pegged at yesterday's settlement price of 1,781.5.
Turnover stood at 3,944 lots while open interest totalled 41,185 contracts.
The underlying FBM KLCI ended the morning session at 1,785.31, up 9.39 points from yesterday's close.-- Bernama
