Malaysia's August LNG exports falls 6pc
Malaysia’s liquefied natural gas exports in August fell six per cent, dropping from a four-month high, according to data from the country’s Statistics Department.
Petroliam Nasional Bhd, the state-owned oil and gas producer known as Petronas, shipped 2.08 million metric tonnes of LNG in August, the data show. That’s down from 2.22 million in July.
Kuala Lumpur-based Petronas received RM5.11 billion, or about US$14.83 per million British thermal units, for August exports. The price was US$13.99 in July.-- Bloomberg
