Honda to open 29 3S centres in 3 years

KANGAR: Honda Malaysia Sdn Bhd plans to open 29 more 3S (sales, service and spare parts) centres nationwide in the next three years to help increase its sales.

Its managing director and chief executive officer, Yoichiro Ueno, said the company, which ranked highly customer satisfaction and lifetime ownership loyalty, believed that 3S centres would provide excellent services.

"Honda Malaysia will continue to develop this market and look for more opportunities to serve our customers better," he said at the launch of its 61st 3S centre, Vimal Auto-Liner Sdn Bhd, here today.

Ueno said Perlis, a growing market, has great potentials.

He said the state, together with Kedah, Penang and Perak, contributed about 20 per cent of Honda Malaysia's annual sales.

"The sales target of Honda Malaysia this year is 64,000 units which represent about 10 per cent of market share," he said.

Managing director of Vimal Auto-Liner, Yudish G. Dorai, said the facilities provided by the company included kids' corner, free WIFI, car park for the disabled, road tax renewal and insurance services.

"Our main aim is to provide the best customer service and satisfaction. We also provide the shuttle service within Kangar for customers who service their cars here," said Yudish.-- Bernama
