InvestKL wooing 5 MNCs to set up KL hubs

InvestKL, a spealist investment agency for Greater KL initiatives is in talks with at least five multinational corporations (MNCs) from the US, Europe and Japan to woo them to make Kuala Lumpur as their regional hubs.

In total for this year, InvestKL is targeting to attract another 10 large MNCs, adding to the 17 which had confirmed their interest since the agency was set up 18 months ago.

Its chief executive officer Zainal Amanshah said InvestKL is on track to attract 100 global MNCs by 2020 which will contribute RM40 billion in annual gross national income within the next seven years.
