SHARES rose 0.31 per cent yesterday, on hopes China will soon introduce new monetary easing policies after the Lunar New Year holiday.
The benchmark Hang Seng Index added 62.53 points to 20,501.67 on turnover of HK$58.51 billion.
Market confidence was also boosted by the recent string of upbeat data on the US economy and the Fed's pledge to hold rates low. AFP
