CellAct will help entrepreneurs set up their own beauty salons and provide space planning, says its group managing director
CELLACT (M) Sdn Bhd is offering women entrepreneurs the chance to open beauty salons that use Switzerland-made products.

The products under the brand name CellAct have been in the local market since 1998 and are being used at more than 300 beauty salons nationwide.

Yesterday, the company launched its CellAct Business System, a business model similar to a franchise system, which will allow entrepreneurs to set up their own beauty centres.

"A capital of between RM180,000 and RM600,000 is required and this will include renovation cost," CellAct group managing director Jessica Lim told reporters in Kuala Lumpur yesterday.

CellAct, she said, will assist business owners to set up the outlets, provide advanced support in every phase of the outlet's opening and space planning.

"With the innovative business model infrastructure and comprehensive support systems, salon owners will be able to manage their customers, employees and their outlets, while we take care of the rest," said Lim.

That would cover state-of-the-art management system, preliminary sales and field assistance, renovation and furnishing, operational guidance, visual merchandising, training and marketing, among others.

Lim said in the next 12 months, CellAct will open about 60 outlets as it converts some of its current product dealers into business owners.

CellAct products are based on a blend of selected plant cell extracts, DNA, pure enzymes, and proteins and uses pure glacial water in the formulation.
