KUALA LUMPUR: Logwin AG is launching red carpet logistics Asia-wide following the successful rollout of its premium fashion logistics product in Malaysia.

The next phase of red carpet logistics expansion in Asia will see its service offering reaching fashion brands in Singapore, Hong Kong and China as well as Indonesia, Vietnam, Thailand and Australia.

Red carpet logistics will primarily focus on premium brand labels going into Asia and the Asian premium brands going to Europe, Australia and the US. “The first facilities to come online will be in Hong Kong, Singapore and Shanghai, then we will phase in the other fashion warehouses during the next year or so,” said Marc Wijnen, director logistics of Logwin’s business segment, air and ocean.

The service will combine the transport of high-end fashion and lifestyle labels to, from and within Asia, with dedicated warehouse facilities.

“The response from the fashion industry following our launch in Malaysia has exceeded all expectations. We have been inundated with enquiries from around the region following Malaysia International Fashion Week,” Wijnen said in a statement recently.

Logwin is forecasting a dramatic increase in demand for warehousing and transport services within the emerging markets in Asia, particularly for premium European and US fashion and lifestyle products.

There are also more Asian premium brands expanding their sales outside of Asia in Europe, North America and the Middle East.
