BINTULU Lumber Development Sdn Bhd (BLD), a unit of BLD Plantation Bhd (BLDP), will buy a controlling stake in Rela Aman Sdn Bhd, from party Rimba Istimewa Sdn Bhd, for RM2.9 million.
It expects to complete the acquisition of 80 per cent or 2.4 million shares in Rela Aman by December 31 2009.
BLD engages in cultivation of oil palm, processing of fresh fruit bunches and sales of related products, while Rela Aman is involved in letting of property and Rimba Istimewa a general contractor.
