The revamp of the fuel subsidy system aimed at trimming spending and cutting the country's budget deficit will be ready for implementation in May next year, Second Finance Minister Datuk Seri Ahmad Husni Hanadzlah said today.
"We will save about more than RM2 billion a year," he said.
"It is a system using Mykad," he told a media conference in Kuala Lumpur. -- Bernama
