The most active palm oil contract on the Malaysia Derivatives Exchange climbed as much as 1.5 per cent to RM2,455 (US$726) a metric ton, the highest since Aug 14 in intra-day trading.

The contract for February delivery was at RM2,430 at 11:09 a.m. in Singapore. - Bllomberg
