NAZA Kia Sdn Bhd is targeting to sell 6,000 units of the new Picanto model next year, says its chief executive officer SM Nasarudin SM Nasimuddin.

The model is already available at all authorised Naza Kia showrooms nationwide.

“The car is suitable as a second car and perfect for city use,” Nasarudin told reporters after the launch of the model in Petaling Jaya last night.

Said to be the best selling model with nearly 900,000 units sold worldwide and over 12,000 already sold in Malaysia, the car offers customers a contemporary and stylish look.

The on-the-road price starts at RM44,500 for a standard model and goes up to RM46,800 with higher specifications.

Its 1.1 litre four cylinder engine, meanwhile, is assembled at Naza Automotive Manufacturing in Gurun, Kedah.
