LG partners Baskin Robbins to promote phone

LG Electronics (M) Sdn Bhd has teamed up with ice-cream company, Baskin Robbins, to promote its new LG KF350 Ice Cream mobile phone.

Managing director/chief executive officer Ko Tae Yeon said the phone would be featured in selected Baskin Robbins’ outlets nationwide from December 2008 to February next year with special promotions for customers.

“Other joint promotions include on-ground activities with the LG Ice Cream truck which will be travelling around shopping malls and colleges in February,” he told a media briefing on the launch of the phone today.

Ko said the phone, which would be on sale next week, will retail at RM836 per unit.
