MOM’S Care Sdn Bhd, one of the leading multi-brand mother and baby care product retailers in Malaysia, aims to set up 10 stores nationwide before end-2010.

Chief executive officer Richard Chang said the new outlets would offer mothers and mothers-to-be a premium shopping experience and an unprecedented level of convenience and comfort.

“We see tremendous prospect for growth in the mother and baby care products industry,” he said at the opening of its new flagship concept store at Ikano Power Centre and launch of two brands from the UK — Babisil and Petit Gems on Tuesday.

He said the other three outlets at 1 Utama Shopping Centre, Mid Valley Megamall and Ampang Point Shopping Centre would be upgraded in stages next year.

Chang said the company, which recorded sales of less than RM4 million last year, hopes to increase them this year. — Bernama
