Naza Sutera makes debut in Singapore
THE Naza brand has finally made its debut in Singapore, with the Naza Sutera 1.1-litre minicar being the first model to hit the island nation's roads.
"We expect the Naza Sutera to outperform its class rivals and quickly gain popularity among young consumers," Naza Group chairman Tan Sri SM Nasimuddin SM Amin said in a statement.
The group is producing more than 12,000 units of Naza Sutera. They will be exported to countries such as Thailand, Indonesia, Brunei, Bangladesh and Nepal.
In Singapore, the Naza franchise is handled by Nascar Pte Ltd, a member of The J & J Royal Group Pte Ltd, which distributes Perodua and TD 2000 from Malaysia as well as Golden Dragon luxury coaches, cargo and commercial vehicles from China.
Nascar managing director John Ng said it had committed over US$10 million (RM32.8 million) for the Naza business, customer care, technical expertise, workshop infrastructure and dedicated equipment.
