Perodua to unveil 4WD model in May

PERUSAHAAN Otomobil Kedua Sdn Bhd (Perodua) will launch its newest flagship model, the Perodua Nautica 4WD, next month.

The automatic transmission four wheel drive (4WD) will be powered by a 1.5 litre engine and will be available in two new colours, Medallion Grey and Majestic Black.

Bookings for the "Urban Compact Sports Utility Vehicle" (SUV) can be made from May 10 2008, onwards.

"The Perodua Nautica 4WD has been developed to be everything that a customer requires in a 4WD in terms of sleekness and compactness with good off-road capabilities," Perodua said in a statement.

The new model comes with the tagline "The Ideal 4WD".

The word Nautica derived from the word Nautical conjures up images of adventure and luxury and the ability to experience unlimited boundaries.
